We deal with thousands of enquiries every year from patients suffering from shingles or cold sores and even more from those newly diagnosed with genital herpes. We are a small charity: our income comes mainly from the people we help, plus a small grant from the Department of Health. We could help more people if we had a larger income. This is where you can help. Any donation, large or small, will be put to good use.

You can give on-line and your credit/debit card statement will read "SPHERE".

To give by phone, please call us between 10.00am and 6.00pm (UK time), Monday to Friday on (0)20 7607 9661 and make a donation using Mastercard, VISA or Switch/Maestro. We also accept CAF charity cheques.

To give by post, cheques should be made payable to ‘HVA’ and sent to us at 41 North Road, London N7 9DP.

If you are a UK income tax payer, with Gift Aid we can claim back the tax you have paid on the money which gives us £25 on every £100 donated. You just have to state that you pay income tax - or tick the box on the form. It costs you nothing. If you are a higher rate tax payer you can claim back some extra (on top of our 25%) from the taxman yourself.

As you can imagine, it is harder to get donations for a herpes charity than almost any other cause. None of the people we help wants to be involved in jumble sales, raffle tickets, sponsored activities - or any of the usual ways charities fund-raise.
